Hypomelanistic Motley Pastel Motley
These are the 2 survivors of
an unexpected double
clutch. Both snakes exhibit
striping of the Motley variety.
I also bred Jupiter and Jakie resulting in normals and, to my surprise, anerythristics! Jakie's clutch, the 2nd to
hatch, confirmed that Jupiter and Jakie were both het for anerythrism. This meant I could expect pastel
motleys from the Jupiter X Lily crossing. Since I was breeding Snakie (Jakie's father) with Luna and Jory
(Jakie's mother) with Mercury, I was sure anerythrism would show up in one of the two crossings. Like
mother, like daughter, Jory was the original donor. Unfortunately, Jakie passed away due to complications
with egg-binding. I have kept one of her offspring (Snakie and Jory are grandparents!) - a beautiful
anerythristic who is het for amelanism, hypomelanism and motley! Snakie X Luna yielded normals and
amelanistics. Overall, I had 6 clutches and 52 babies!
