A true naturalist comes to appreciate nature in all its variety.  Field herpetologists should know that a bad day herping
is better than a good day working....  Hmmm.   Not to original, however true!  I can't list all the occasions where I have
returned from a hike, my camera devoid of any herp photos.  This does not mean that my camera was empty.  I am
always taking pictures of life all around me.  I, unfortunately do not have the time to create separate pages for every
kind of critter I photograph.   I would love to create SIGHTINGS pages for every group, but for now, this condensed
version will have to do.  Pictures are listed at random.
