These two Northwestern Salamanders were discovered under fallen wood near the mouth
of Redwood Creek (on the north side) on a chilly afternoon in late November 2007.

This beauty was found by Alan Francis in cool clear seepage near the mouth of Fern
Canyon in Prairie Creek Redwood State Park (No. Humboldt County)   April 26, 2008
